5 new cake designs have been completed this week for Clients! It was a very busy week at #creativecakesbyaz.
The Flying Scotsman Train cake. This was a rich dark chocolate cake with a chocolate gnache filling. It took me two days to complete this cake and the client was very pleased with it.
The next was a 3 tier American themed birthday cake. The size of the #birthdaycake was 9" bottom, 7" middle and a 5" top.
A last minute request for a friend was this Beach themed birthday cake. A sheet cake covered with a 7 minute american frosting. This was the first time I had used this type of frosting and I love it although it was very sweet!!
It realy does look like a very choppy sea!!!
No it's not a Guitar it's a Ukelele ! Made with a rich chocolate sponge cake and a gnache filling.
And, this one which i love!! A 9" Elderflower, Lemon and Poppyseed sponge cake with a pink tint. The cake was then covered in fondant and I handpainted the leaves/flowers onto it. Two miniature bottles of pink Gin and some pink Lindt chocolates finished the cake off beautifully.
